Hi Newbie with a question.
I have read numerous reviews on the aquasol apathotel in palma nova and one of the bad points that keep popping up is that there are no lifts so there is a lot of steps. I will be travling with a 3 year old and a 1 year old. How much of a hassle are these steps that people mention. We are quire happy to carry the pushchair whilst the little ones walk. Unless of course there are hundreds!!
Thanks
If you put Aquasol into the Search facility there are several previous topics, but some are quite old. I couldn't see steps mentioned, however perhaps you can ask for a room on a low floor.

We came back from Aquasol last sat, there are definately no lifts in the whole complex. We were on the top floor, but these are only 3 floors high. The problem will be having to lug the pushchair up & probably carry the little one.
Here is the email address that we used & got a speedy reply joconnor@aquasol.info maybe as luci said, it would be an idea to ask for a low floor, still some steps but better for you.
Have a great time.
Deb.
Thanks for the replies.
No problem.
Yes, on the whole it was good, I have left a review on here. Our biggest problem were the ants, there wern't masses of them but they were annoying, we had to wash the kettle out every time we used it & left our cups etc in the sink. They were mainly in the bathroom & kitchen, the kitchen worktop is a dark granite so they are hard to see. Reception did send a cleaner up with ant spray after we complained but there wasn't a particular place to see where they were coming from.
Apart from that, the apartments have had a refurb & are nice. As I said, email them & ask for a low floor, it will be better for the little ones.
They do all sorts of activities for the children too.
When are you going?
Deb
We had a similar problem with ants in Feurterventura last year.
We are thinking of going in Sept..when it's not so hot and busy
Lovely time to go, we are in Palmanova again in 3 weeks time with daughter & grandchildren, then again in septembe,r just hubby & I, but we stay at Playa C'as Saboners & have been to Majorca at this time for about 8 years. Although we usually go early, we are going out 22nd spetember this year.
Have you actually booked the Aquasol yet?
Deb.
No we've not booked yet. Just trying to get a few ideas. The Aquasol seemed a good one for half board and for kids. Is the playa c'as saboners any good?
We have stayed there about 5 or 6 times now & really like it there. It doesn't do half board though, but they do have a snack bar thats open all day, it has stated B&B now though & they have a small shop in reception (bigger & cheaper supermarket down the road though).
Here is their website http://www.cassaboners.com/home_en.php
