I'm considering taking a surfboard or body board on the plane. Need to contact the airline to check on price.
How do you get to lake/mud bath i have been to Arambol came on the beach where the road goes into narrow path, suppose its the main rd.
When you get onto the main beach had right and up onto the cliff side. Follow it round past all the sellers and small stalls pirched on the edge for a little while until you see another small beach. You can't miss it if you follow the cost round.
ok know where you mean now, thanks for that
I think the area where the mud paths are is Paradise Lake. As Mardon says just follow the little pebbly road as far right as you can go, its about a 20 minute walk.
Anybody see the old Banyan tree ? follow the path at the far end of the sweetwater lake and it is about 10 - 15 minutes walk into the jungle. I stayed there overnight with 3 of the resident hippies in 1999, it was a great experience, I wonder if they still live there ??
Yup think there still there. Didn't go. May venture in this time! 6weeks to go!!
There was a remarkable lack of foliage last time I was there and the 2 guys that were living there at the time seemed to be hiding out from the authorities rather than doing the hippy thing.
Actually, thinking about it there are these mad little plants on the walk to the Banyan tree that move out of direct sunlight if you move their cover, not slowly, they bend over back into the shade quite fast - weirdest thinig I've ever seen. They make the walk worth while
like a mini fern leaf Fritz ? I have seen them on the cliffs at Vagator, when you touch them they curl up
That's them Feel.
