Good news about these apartments!! I know of someone who is staying there at the minute and has said they are very big, quite basic but clean with a lovely view!

hi just letting you no i am going to the arcos playa apartments on the 19 august and have been worried to about these apartments i have just looked on holidays-exposed.com on hotels and apartments it has some pictures of the apartment and comments from someone who has stayed there they sound ok so try not to worry i will leave you post when i get back on the 3 september i hope it will be good news.

Just back from the Arcos Playa apartments. There are two blocks - one just across the road. The apartments are very spacious and clean. I stayed with my husband and 2 kids and we had a ball. The reception staff are very helpful. The staff that worked in the bar/restaurant were friendly, helpful and great with the kids.

The food was nice but there were so many other places to eat and you just had to try them all!!

The entertainment is geared towards kids and as long as they were happy then so were we!

The only complaint I would have is no air conditioning but you can rent out fans for 17€ per week. We did without and were fine!

It probably wouldn't be possible to cook a big meal as there were only 2 gas rings, 1 frying pan and 1 saucepan but lets face it - who wants to cook when you're on your hols!!

The pool was great and cleaned every night - the beach was just across the road.

I presume the reviews were put on by people who are used to 5* hotels. You get what you pay for!! We will definately return!

I'm not used to 5 star luxury, but I still expect a clean room. I am glad that they seemed to have bucked their ideas up since August 2002 and you had a good time

hi just returned from the arcos playa and i have to say wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. The rooms were spacious and clean perfect for our needs we only used it for sleeping and showering.location was perfect the beach was down the road and shops and resterants were the same you dont have to eat at the same place twice who ever goes go with an open mind and have a nice time.
