We have been monitoring the price of a flight only from Leeds Bradford to Dalaman on 13/10/08 with Onur Air, on Wednesday 10/09/08 it was £199 pp, just checked a few minutes ago and it's £299!!
Going to be even harder to find a cheap deal as the airlines try and cash in following the XL collapse.

Prices are more expensive in October than they were in May/June/July/ August, Just another ploy to cash in on the many many unfortunate people who lost out on their hard earned holiday when they booked with Xl and it's countless subsiduaries, I have been monitoring prices since this and every single tour op has put up prices by £100 or more per holiday to Turkey, Even my trusted Goldtrail have put up the prices for the one I was watching before the collapse was £259 now its an incredible £379, Guess I will have to book somewhere else in October unless these thiefs wise up with the prices.
Logged onto SCOT TRAVEL website today and noticed that they are now charginga "travel supplement" of £120 per person. This is simply sheer expolitation of a desperate situation. I am quite sure that it wont be just them but these companies should be named and shamed for cashing in on other peoples misery

The day before the XL collapse I booked a 2 week holiday to Icmeler with Thomas Cook for £329 from Newcastle on October 3rd.Its for the Private hotel and on a B&B basis.I cant get on the Thomas Cook website but it would be interesting to see how much the holiday is now.

Currently at £354 from Newcastle interestingly Newcastle is the cheapest airport the others are all more expensive upto £526 from Doncaster.

I went to collect the tickets today and asked if the holiday was still available as a friend would like to come,but that flight was now full.I am not surprised as its rained almost every day for the past 3 weeks
before i gave up and booked a holiday to salou i was watching the gold trail prices and the best i found was £277 all inc a good price but not the right day for my friend today i checked it and its now £504, i feel sorry for any one trying to get a late deal there just not out there any more.any way im off to wet salou.
Prices are dropping with Goldtrail now folks, £70 cheaper than yesterday for the one im watching presently.
same here feel sorry for those looking to book we managed to get a ALL in package from thomas cook for 16th november 2008 just before the XL crash and got a price £1345 for 5 of us including transfers and inflight meals and even got a family room with 2 bedrooms at the Atlantis hote in belek. You have pay a supplement for those rooms per person per night but wasnt arguing just booked it at 269 each for a week. Look online and they not giving you the option of a family room now and it was last time i looked just uner £2000 for same holiday but in 2 rooms so dont know what a family room would be. The prices are going up so the tour operators havein a field day.

My friends booked for us today on the internet. Going to Nerga hotel in Marmaris, A/I 7 nights for £283 including insurance and transfares.
I booked flight only to Dalaman in March - return with Thomas Cook just over £80. I was very pleased.

Hi basil brush 4 , that site looks good but after being stranded in Lanzorote when XL went bust I will in future make sure the holiday is ATOL protected, I can't see any mention of ATOL on the site in your link? Do you think it is protected?

Our booking was made through http://www.greatlatedeals.co.uk for accomodation, flights through goldtrail, I have traveled every time to Marmaris by Goldtrail and never had a problem!

The site says its ABTA protected as its a travel agent,but if you click on a hoilday that you are interested in, it will say if the company that is selling the holiday are ATOL protected.
