Taking advantage of the cheap flights with Ryan air I am looking to book a short break for the end of July.
Its our wedding anniversary and we are having a few days without the kids
soooooo we have the choice of flying to the following cheaply :
Paris (orly)
Amsterdam
Shannon
Dublin
Berlin
Hamburg
And having been to none of them ,ever I have no idea which to go for !
We are both 28 and not really into the pubbing / clubbing scene but do like a nice meal and bar etc and a mooch about the shops, people wathcing from a cafe etc
sooooooo sell me a destination pls !
My vote would be for Paris as there is so much to see and do. We went for 6 days and saw as much as we could, but we needed every minute.
I vote as well for Paris, then Amsterdam, Paris is a lovely city and lots to see and do.
thanks both
Amsterdam without a doubt
i would say Paris, i went February and had a lovely time.
ive been to amsterdam, paris and dublin and enjoyed them all for different reasons. if you want lots of things to see and visit then paris would be the best, dublin is good for the bars, nightlife and shops and is a lovely place, amsterdam has some nice parts although there was certain areas felt very uncomfortable in, but there are lovely buildings, river trips again a nice place, ive heard good reports on berlin but havent been yet it is on hit list im off to lubljana in about 10 days and looking forward to that too. if prague or marrakech comes up as cheap flight then both these places are fab better than your list of places to see, would highly recommend them both. good luck with wherever you decide to go
i booked Dublin in the end, as got the 1p flights with Ryanair ( even though it said they werent available in the school holidays ?!)
so for 2 ad return its costing the grand total of 4p
really looking forward to it ,even though its not until end july lol !
Well done with the price, never been to Dublin, I hope you enjoy
Whow.. you could almost go to Dublin and Paris in that case. What's the catch with such cheap flights isn't the tax like £100???. I'm only asking as my friend is working in Dublin at the mo and her airfares are over £80... and i would like to go visit... Let me know how it goes..
the 1p flights have now ended but here are some links to the info
I assume you mean 1p flights, but with tax added, they worked out at £10 per flight per person.
I'll check out those links.. cheers
