Hiya we have managed to get what seems like a good deal with this airline but have never heard of them. Has anyone else flown to Crete with them and if so was it ok?
cheers

Havent flown to Crete with them but have flown with them. They are fine standard charter airline but onboard the service is pretty good. Have been around about 3 years now. Operate Boeing 737-300 and the more modern Boeing 737-700
Flew to Venice with them last year and was the best charter flight ever. Although there is no onboard entertainment the crew were the nicest I've ever come across, the food was great, the seats were comfy and we got a champagne cocktail as we boarded.
Here's what their aircraft look like:

You might find this link to some reviews useful,
A friend of mine flew to Gambia before Christmas witrh this lot and he was far from impressed. Can't comment myself but I would be more interested in talking to Bruce about the good ol' days than worrying about the flight.

Does anyone know why they don't have inflight entertainment though?
Is it a cost thing? Seems a very strange decision particularly when they are flying new planes.
i once sent them an email asking why they didnt have any entertainment, never replied.
Gambia is a long way on a smal;l aircraft so I guess reviews on routings like that wont be too favourably.
Kind Regards

Gambia is done on there new B757
Am I right in thinking thier 757 has a larger than average seat pitch of 35 inches?
Gambia was originally done on the B737-700.
No the B757's dont have an increased seat pitch, i believe it is standard charter 28-30".
Just found this on the Astraeus website - knew I'd read it somewhere about all the seats on one of there 757's having extra seat pitch - six extra inches.
The Astraeus website quotes the 757 aircraft as having just 189 seats, which would give extra leg room. However, it all depends on who is chartering the aircraft. It doesnt take much to change the configuration.
Can confirm the Banjul flights from Bristol on Tuesdays and Fridays are still operated by the 737-700.
Thanks for all your help guys - feel much happier now .xxx
we flew with this airline last year to greece (mykonos)good fligh, good food, hope you enjoy
