ATMs at Georgioupolis?

Hi .
We're off to Georgiopolis in a couple of weeks. - Our first time in Crete

We normally take some Euros, a few Travellors cheques and a card to withdraw cash.
Does anyone know if there are any desent, (normally

) working ATMs in the resort?
I've taken a look on the link from this forum to the Visa and Mastercard sites, but that came up with nothing.

Any info would be much appreciated.

the Mastercard atm finder showes 1 at the national bank of greece the is proberbly a visa one as well

We were in Georgoupolis a couple of weeks ago but only for the day. We used a 24 hour ATM close to the village square. We have a Visa debit card. I think there will be other ATMs as well. It's quite a large resort.

Many thanks for your replies, and I expect you're right - if its quite a large resort, then there usualy are ATMs about.
We're really looking forward to it now - especially seen as the summer in the UK hasn't arrived yet!

Anyone got any ideas on the best places in the UK to get good Euro rates?
