Hi Lb,

We went to a small one on the Baga Calungute road on Right heading twards C/gute it is near a bend in the road.
We both had a massage at the same time (2 cubicles) but be prepared to throw away your modesty..............

Remove your clothes "Everything" including jewelry, but its a real treat over an hour of quality massage, loads of oil into the sun dried skin.

Massage was done by a man for a man & woman for a woman and cost less than £10 for both of us.
Don't confuse it with the beach massage its a lot more proffesional, highly recommended..

My daughter went to the one on Tito's Road and it was all off and a really intense massage. She described it as a "good pummeling".

She went because she had a bad back - (thank you Monarch!) - and they crunched it so much she passed out! Don't know that she'd hurry back but her back did get better!

Hope that's not put you off!

Me and my friend had one there last year was very good, make sure you don't wear anything good to put on after as the oil stains everything even though they try to wipe it off.

There is no pummeling or crunching with a Ayurdervic massage, its nothing like a Thai massage, it should be firm but relaxing..........

:) Hi, I've always been weary about having a massage because some years back i was involved in a car crash which damaged my lower back and i constantly suffer lower back pain, but just lately i've been wondering about the medical benefits of having an Ayurdervic massage but i still didn't go for one whilst in Goa this january, i guess i was afraid that it might adversly affect my back and put a downer on the hoilday (its hard to sunbathe if you can't lay flat on a sunbed  ).
So if someone could recommend a reputable establishment where i could try an ayurdervic massage in the Candolim area when i return in December and give me a clue as to how much i should have to pay that would be great.

many thanks Jayne :wave
