The video was filmed over the 2 week period at various times of the day, but mainly early morning because sometimes I like to get a long shot of the length of the empty promenade, and if it was left to Dave, I'd be up with the fishermen, never mind the birds.!

I've bought a new HD camcorder today, gosh it's soooo dinky compared to my 'old' one and it will fit in my pocket instead of lugging the bag with the tapes and spare battery around.
Now I've got to figure out how to use it and work out how many memory cards I'm going to need for the trip to OZ.....:yikes
My 'old' camcorder was idiot proof with a function called 'easy mode', so I just pointed and pressed a button, but the only thing I could never get to grips with, was the zoom, it was too keen and if you just lightly touched the button, whoosh it would zoom at full speed, this new one doesn't seem so sensitive and all the other functions are all touch screen now....Technology for you.!
Daft as it may sound, I'm going to miss the old one, it's kindda been my 'holiday buddy' for the last 4/5 years.

Good luck with the new camcorder Sanji. Looking forward to seeing some footage from it already. I bet it will take a while to get to grips with all the settings. I've had my camera (not video) for about 3/4 years now and I still haven't sussed out what some of the settings are for The basic functions are explained in a paper manual but the advanced ones are on cd. I just need to take the time to sit at my laptop and have a read. I've done it once but need to run through it again as there's so much to remember.

I'm just about all videod and photo(ed) out now, and I was clearing stuff off my computer yesterday.
I love the flowers in La Carihuela/Torremolinos.....you can visit in June and see a bedraggled twig that looks half dead, and then when you go back in September, it has become a beautiful flower.

They do love their plants/flowers and I got "told off" by a rather handsome policeman for putting one foot on the grass (which separates the dual carriageway in Torre town centre ) when filming the procession"¦..I didn't argue with him"¦.lo siento Señor.

There are no colours in my garden and the leaves are beginning to fall, so, I think I'll be watching this video and the Carihuela one, a few times over the winter months....the colours cheer me up.!
