It may be more expensive at the time you are looking at as its very close to half term holidays and we all know that the travel agents like to put up their prices on and around school holidays

Hi Fatfoodycat thanks for that,yeah i forgot the kids was off as we were going to go 4th october when the kids are at school and thats still coming up over the 700 mark,as my husband is starting a college course in september we thought it would be better to change the dates to when he is off but yeah i

guess am gonna struggle if i cant get anything cheap for the 4th whats my chances of finding anywhere for the 18th.

Have you tried the King's Hotel (on Tombs of the Kings road)?

It's classed as a 2* hotel but although it is a basic hotel - it's clean and very friendly. It has a swimming pool and bar out the back and you can eat there on Half Board or just on BB basis.

First Choice used to use the hotel but not sure if any other tour ops use it too.

It does have it's own website but as I have a new account here - I'm not allowed to post any links just yet

I tried http://www.airtours.co.uk putting in the October dates you mentioned and selecting your airport and Paphos. The first couple of accommodations that come up are within your price range. I think the first one is the 'land of kings' one that someone else has mentioned.

We stayed at the Pafian Sun Holiday Village in September last year and are going back on the 9th May. Don't believe all the crap that is in the reviews it is a good deal if you book it yourself and not through travel agents. e-mail them and they will give you a price for a week B&B, Half Board or All Inclusive. I will admit that it's not 4* but the food isn't that bad and you don't have to watch the entertainment if you don't like it you are not chained to the seats. Out total price for 1 week is £287 for flights and approx £320 for all inclusive accommodation booked directly with the Hotel. this is for 2 people, not bad when the brochure price is £1100 through Travel Agents .

You could also try Xl.com for flights (check the DIY forum for up to date promotion codes) and FindMeAccom.com for accommodation.

Mercury Travel were doing some good package deals to the Ledra Beach Hotel (Paphos) in the Sunday papers the other week.

Will keep looking for you but I think that might be around school holidays -best price I have found up to now is 17/1/ for £860 staying at the Paphiesas
