its a fair old trot.. you would probably be better off booking a shared shuttle bus ..try holiday extras

we paid a short visit there in 2010 and have booked some accomodation there for 2011. It's quite a hilly place to get round but there are several beaches and it looked ok for restaurants and tavernas, although we didn't walk round the place because we were en route to Almerida, where we are also staying this year. As mod says it's a fair trek from the airport but if you don't mind driving there are plenty of rentals online at reasonable prices and the drive is a pretty one. It wouls also give flexibility whilst you are there. Whatever you decide I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
