Bangkok Airport Departure Tax to Increase from 1 Feb 2007

After a few months of rumours, it's been confirmed that the departure tax for international departures will increase from 500 to 700 baht. Domestic departure tax - which is already built into the cost of a tickets - will increase from 50 to 100 baht.

thanks for that info! ( I suppose KS will follow with a rise as well!)
