Stayed in San Stefanos before. at the Tereza just up a small hill. Romanza is quite a hike up. Barras are on the main street, handy for the bars and tavernas. San Stef is a quiet resort, enough tavernas and bars. Nice beach. Some of the rooms back on to the stream with the bullfrogs, which can be quite noisy. But would certainly go to San stef again.

Thanks for that bejay. Did you see the Rose Gardens while you were there? If you did how far away were they from the centre. Think I might book Tereza if I can find travel agent that does them, Rose Gardens if not.

did not see Rose Garden, though not looking for it. Tereza family are lovely. You can SC or B and B. pool area nice too. we booked through Portland website http://www.villatereza.com

You can also book Teresa with Thomsons as well. We always stay there and have already booked for next year for 2 weeks end of August through Portland in the S/C apartments for £720.00 for the 2 of us. I think we have got a bargain there.
