When you get there, pick up a little yellow booklet. "Whats going on in Benidorm" or something similar. It will have all the info you need. Also "Round Town" and "Euro Weekly News" free papers have lots of stuff.

I think they may all have websites.

Round Town.

Is this bar worth a visit??

Do you need to book? (have read on website that you do)

Is there an entrance fee?

Is there a particular good night to attend?

We are going to Beni next year with company and thought this might be a good place to go. Hubby and I going in 3wks and thought we would check it out.

What do you think?? Thanks

If you like Drag Shows this bar is certainly worth a visit, its by far and away the best drag show in Benidorm. Jordan Rivers (Garry) sings live, which most drag artists in Beni dont do, and the show is very professional and really funny. We've been twice now and really enjoyed it. I would advise you to book, you could probably get in if you took a chance and turned up at 9.30, but its only small and most people do book in advance, and thats what we did both times. We booked the "Muppet Box" for our first visit, and the "Royal Box" for our second. Sounds grand that, but it only referes to the seating area in front of the bar area!!! There is a charge of €5 each, and the drinks are at Cabaret Bar prices, but its definately worth it, for a night with a difference. I dont know anyone who's been who has'nt enjoyed it. The only drawbacks are that its small, and can get very hot in there, and that the show does'nt start till about 10.30 but you need to be there before 9.30 otherwise they let the seats go to someone else.

Hi Taggy , :) I know two people who didn't like it and that's me and my other half . I dread to think what would happen if there was a fire in there ,everyone is squashed in like sardines and some would be trampled under foot in the stampede to get out. :( Most other cabaret places are free to get in and yet these are not satisfied with charging but also tout their wares for you to buy which takes up time they could be entertaining people .I must admit it's a while since we were there, in fact it wasn't long after they were on TV and I was so looking forward to seeing them, but soooooooo disappointed when I did.
Each to their own I guess . :que

I read in the Roundtown magazine that they don't serve drinks whilst the show is on which I thought was a bit unusual but if it's a tiny place then that explains why.

And it's probably why they want you to get there an hour before the show starts: so you can buy plenty booze beforehand.

They do have an Interval in the show, when the Bar is open! A few quibbles, but nothings perfect, and the Show is the best of its kind in Benidorm by a long way!

Hi dodge - just back today :-(

Can tell you the best place to play bingo is JJ's (cosmapoloton bar - sp?) - which would only be a couple of minutes walk from the nereo! ( opposite sol pelicanos/oscars)- the one with the curtains shut (Until they have finished playing bingo ;) - they play bingo every evening from 9-11.- the money is fantastic - especially on a jackpot night.(Tue, fri and sun). It costs 1Euro per ticket, and you can run up to six.. The last house is a 1,000 euros (Which we won last year :) I also won it this year too (but 4 of us shouted) - so we got 250Euros each!!!! - we also won a couple of 180Euro houses too!!!! (The Plaza also does bingo - but the money isnt too good - and tickets expensive).

Sinatra's do bingo on an afternoon 2-5 but we use to just go in for last 2 games (The last house of the day is for 800Euros. Won a couple of 200euro houses there too!!!!- Also john and josephs do bingo in afternoon!

Hope you have a win- belly!
