Try La Brasa,on the narrow road by The Town cabaret bar, weve had some lovely meals in there some evenings, they do lovely chargrilled steaks, and crepes to die for.

I also recommend Michael's although it hasn't got a 'view'. The food is lovely, reasonably priced and has a nice atmosphere.

Dear SAMBACASUAL

And what is wrong with folk in Newcastle United shirts, the black & white stripes do not make them bad people or second class citizens!

Even well dressed upper class chavs can be badly behaved, so please do not judge all books by their covers.

I am sorry but find your remarks rather derogatory towards the good people of the North East of England.

By all means ask about restaraunt recommendations, but please try to do so without having to offend other folk.

:sad

shame you feel that way but unless admin censors my 'remarks' i can't see what's wrong with them,i won't apologise for a humorous observation and you don't know enough about me to know what i do and don't think about Geordies.(please enlighten me as to where i said they were bad people)

If it's not racist, homophobic, inciteful or directly aimed at offending a particular poster then what's your problem?

jesus :rofl

An emoticon can sometimes help ensure that humorous remarks are not misinterpreted. ;)

But please folks, let's keep discussion friendly.

I would say Vagabonds and Paniels are both ''posh restaurants'' with a great ambience not over big and intimate.Cheers steve

If your after a pre dinner drink with a view to die for, theres a place not far from the church in the old town. Not sure of the name of the bar but in my opnion it has a fanastic view of the whole of Levante, it used to be the aquarium on the street up from what used to be the town hall.If you heading for the old town for a meal it`s a short walk from the restaraunts mentioned above.
