Depends what you want really if you are looking for cheap and cheerful try Nino's Nook almost opposite Raffles or Helens a few doors up - neither do food. Tony's a little further up does some great food and drinks are reasonable.
It's a roof top bar pretty much opposite the turning to the beach road in Candolim Basic, but cheap and friendly! Yani (sorry for the spelling) works like a trooper at keeping everyone happy. Have crawled out there very late after some great nights
We will give it a try in a few weeks time sounds good thanks V/S
Have you ever tried Snow white bar its very cheap in there its used by Goans..
where abouts is Snow White Bar, is it near the football gound where the car hire place is?
I love Mango Grove, great food , nice spot on the main road, good spot for people watching.
Newbutt if you know where the panchyatt is opposite the beach road. Its a bit further along on the same side of the road towards calangute don't think its as far as the football ground..Its upstairs and thinking about it i think it may be called The Snow Inn.
thanks I know where you mean now
Tiger Trail is pretty opposite the entrance to the beach road in Candolim (in fact farily opposite one of the sports bars). It is on the same side as Original Fakes (handbags shop).
I like Angarra, oposite Inferno and the new bar on the main road at the end of the Highland road......can't remember name, sorry.
to HT outsidespottys
Last year our favorite bar was Full Moon, opposite Goan Jewellers, we also went in Viva Bar and Tiger Trails. Outsidespottys, can I take it from your name you used to go to Spottys shack, we used it in 2000/01.

Colleen if you were walking towards Ruffles, Goan jewellers is on your left hand side next door to Tony's just before you get to the crossroads where Tailor d' Goa is on the corner.
