i have seen them in the £ shop you get 32 AA battries, no idea how good they are.
battries are cheaper out there, but I found them to be dodgy, so now I always take some with me. get a big pack in asda quite cheap.

They're cr*p
I bought a pack for my walkman a few months ago and practically ran out within an hour.
Although cant really complain because they were so cheap
bring them with you i think it saves a lot of hassel if you do need to get some while your there : ( bring the black and gold ones you should get a long time out of them.........if you happen to stop off in bahrain you can get duracell a pk of 10 for 2quid
Local batteries really aren't good, but you can still buy good makes which should be good enough, but cheaper than the same makes in the UK
