My family and I stayed in a B&B, Gite complex last year, run by an irish family. It was lovely, nice atmosphere, nice big pool, my children loved it! Not sure how far away it was from Montpellier though. It was near to Carcassonne, which I can thoroughly recommend, huge place, they have a haunted house there which is fantastic!
