OK we've just booked yet again for Sharm
What amazes me is what some people think they are getting for their money ? I know that at Sharm if you read 4 star you think 3 star especially when you get the price
But reading the umpteen millions of reviews there are some that I can only put down to sheer obstrocliousness
the number of people who think that when they've paid far less for a flight to Egypt and 14 nights in a hotel than you'd pay for a week-end to New York think that they are not getting value for money is beyond me --they seem to have the attitude of it says it's 5 star and that's what I think I paid for
They expect Pork products (OK Sharm are Westernised but still we are going to a muslim country)
they complain they HAVE to tip -- I find the Egyptians less likely to want a tip than the Mexicans or Spanish
They complain that the water is undrinkable --- That's why ALL hotels have bottles of water for drinking isn't it
they complain there are too many Russians/ Italians -- as if they want a hotel occupied by English only (please NO!!!!!)
I have even seen compaints about too much foreign food
There was one on another site compaining there were too many FISH
anyone else think there are some people who just like to sound pretentious or just plain st id
Well said Gray
Too many fish.
And not enough chips to go with them sorry couldn't resist
Now wheres my dictionary Gray .hmmm obstrocliousness
Well said Gray! These people obviously dont read anything about the country before they go
