I'm off to Benalmadina next Thursday having never been before.
I am staying at Los Patos Hotel - any comments on this would be grateful. Also I have heard that the shopping is good in Gibralter. How do I get there? How much would it cost in a taxi?
Also will it be quite cool at night? Normally I go on holiday in the summer months and wear shorts etc but I thought I would wear jeans at night.
Any other information you can give me on the resort would be greatly appreciated.
Los Patos is on a hil. There are major building work going on all around the hotel, but the heavy work has been done, so there's not much noise. Taxi to Gib would be costly. Why not book in one of the many local agencies who run buses for approx €9 (euros) for shopping trips or approx €35 for the sightseeing trip which takes in the caves and the monkeys etc. Just returned today and its still aroud 28-30degs. Never wore a jacket at all in the evenings although i did have one with me.
