Hi I was just wondering if anyone has ever booked apartments through this company and it they are a reputable company?
Any info much appreciated.
Thanks
Mark
I have booked with them twice and they have been great except if you ever want to change your booking, they hate it and can be really cheeky to you. We booked to go to the Moby Dick Apts and then there came some really bad reviews on here , it was the only holiday we were going to ge that year and was to important to go and stay in a bad place, so we approached them for a change and even with paying the £25.00 adminn fee they were truly rude to us. Apart from that though they definetly are a reputable company just make sure you are 100% certain before you book.
Hi, Only problem we had was the regarding their taxi transfers, and the collection and returning of keys, it was a nightmare both at the start and end of our holidays.
Lizzie, what was the problem with the tranfers? I was also thinking of booking transfers through them and was hoping the driver may bring the key to the apartments with him as sometimes happens with McKenzie Cook as I have had problems with key collection before. Also they sent me a telephone number to contact them but everytime I ring it is either engaged or an answer phone and I have left messages but they never phone back.
We used them for transfers only last September. They took us to apartments that we had to pick up our keys and then on to our own apartments no problem. On our return we were supposed to be picked up at 9pm and they didn,t arrive I phoned constantly and couldn,t get an answer at 9.35 we jumped in a taxi and I contacted them when we got home.Apparently their cars come from Alicante and there had been a road accident. They couldn,t contact us as I never thought to leave them a mobile number . Anyway they did refund our taxi fare. Mishaps happen and it wouldn,t put us of using them again.

Hi Mark,
Have sent you pm.
Telling you this in case members think I hav'nt answered your question.
Ally,
How did you return your keys?
Lizzie.
Hi Lizzie, Wewere told to leave them on the table of the apartment and they would be picked up the next day. If reception at our apartments was open when we left we wouldve handed them in.

Hi Alexa, Was your apartment booked with Benidorm Direct? as we had to get our keys back before 10am to an office quite a long walk away, which resulted in us having to pay for taxis to return them so we could get our deposit back!!
Lizzie
That was the same as us Lizzie it wasnt so bad for us as we had a hire car although husband said a few choice words the third time round the one way system ha. It is kind of inconvenant having to drop keys off at thier office .
Our apartment was booked with WinterSunshine holidays Lizzie because we had a late flight home we booked an extra day anddidn,t leave the apartment till late evening. This arrangement was made between ourselves and reception.
Our apts didn't have a reception, and also once we had took the keys back to the office at 9.30am, it meant we had to have all our luggage with us until 2pm as we couldn't get back in the apartment block as we had to get through a locked gate. The office wouldn't let us keep a set of spare keys to have the gate key!! and to make matters worse it was peeing down with rain!!
Lizzie
Poor you Lizzie, as I said we booked an extra day because of late flights and it wasn,t too expensive and made our last day much more enjoyable. Would certainly do that again if we had a flight later in the day.
I too usually book an extra night if we have a late flight, but as we only had to kill a few hours it wasn't worth it.
I still think BD should have a better way of returning keys, what if it were 2 elderly people, how would they have got on with having to lug cases with them all over Beni to return keys before 10am?
My solution would be to take 1 set of keys back the day before to get breakages deposit back, and then leave the other set in the apartment. or let people take the keys back to some of the other offices they use dotted around Beni, we actually had one quite close to us where we had to get spare keys from, and go to if we had any problems with the apartment, but we couldn't take the keys back to them for some strange reason.
It just seems rather a lot of trouble to me when it should be so simple.

Just returned back from Torre principado on the beach front with Benidorm Direct.
Yes we had to return keys back to the office and we knew this as it says so on the voucher. We went last year with BDIRECT and went to Gemelos 2 which does have a reception, keys at the door on arrival. Some blocks have receptions some don't.
Torre principado is fantastic,quite,excellent apartment,all mod cons,toasters,kettle,washing machine.tv satellite.
Beach on your doorstep.Going to book again for next year with BDIRECT
I hve going with them for 8 years, always enough information on your apartment and details of office locations.
Where did you have to return your keys to?
I have been in the Torre Principado they are huge aren't they?
Glad you had a good time.
Lizzie.

Pat ... for info and discussion on Gemelos 22,
Thanks,i have read lots of positive reviews on these so i'm looking forward to my holiday
crystal xx
Cheers crystal,I can't wait to get there i'm really looking forward to it,i believe they are near the indoor market. We have been informed that we have to pick the keys up from the Nereo Hotel so its not too far away and we land at 2030 so every thing should be fine. The only thing that does bother me is on our return we dont fly until 2130 so we will have to keep all our luggage with us til about 7 oclock, but nevermind we'll manage.
