Paris again is a short trip away. More convenient by Eurostar
Brussels/Bruge is a good weekend
Venice is superb at that time of year, not too hot or too busy. Ideal for just people and architecture watching.
Whatever your choice stay away from the main tourist areas and the food and drinks won't be too expensive either
good luck wherever you choose
This year i have visited Barcelona, Dublin and Paris and Dublin comes up top.
We found it very easy to get around and the people so friendly. Great food, drink and places to see.
i have been to all and enjoyed all but prague is the nicest by far
