ok folks thinking caps on please...

Its my dads birthday when we are over in turkey (19th September) me and hubby would like to take him for a v-nice meal somewhere special wondered if anyone can point me in the direction of a decent resteraunt?...

We all like really good food and nice wine so somewhere that offers that preferably

Hi,
Just replied to your Karbel question!

I am like a parrot! Fav place for dinner was the Secret Garden (their Turkish dishes were lovely - we had the stew for 2) but it was just so peaceful and pleasant there.

I have got to agree, The Secret Garden is a superb place to eat, but the only problem you may find is that it has become so popular that you may have to wait quite a while for a table if you dont book early

or you can book a table at the Belcekiz Beach Hotel it has three restaurants and is very good have a look at there web site
sorry its 4 restaurants - Italian, Ala carte, Chinese & Oriental options

Definitely the Oba restaurant, which I think is more or less opposite The Blue Star hotel. Great for food and location. They even had a fan for each table when I was there last August - very welcome.
