just booked our extra legroom seats on the sardine can (monarch) yesterday for our trip to goa at the beginning of dec so finally i feel like i can join in again on the forum without feeling depressed cos we're actually going back & soonish!!!
does anyone know if the resteraunt 'beaches' is still going??? it was about midway between calangute/candolim on the right hand side of the rd (if coming from candolim) they did fantastic english food which was my saviour as it stopped my mum in law moaning about getting sodding lamb chops (long story some of you may remember my original post on the topic over a year ago)
anyway the food was brilliant but the place was always empty (shame)i think because getting to it meant a taxi ride or a walk in the dark down the main calangute/candolim rd.
we're just wondering if its still open????
and if it is if anyone is looking for a resteraunt with brilliant english type food (steak & kid pie etc) to shut up anyone in their group who doesnt like indian food this place is brilliant.
