just returned from sharm we were a party of 6 and coming home the passport official on duty stopped the last one of our party and tried to make out his stamp had expired (more than 15 days) because he and four other members of our party inc 2 young children did not get visa as not leaving sharm..

we explained we all arrived same time and therefore his stamp was not over 15 days.he was not interested and just wanted 15le for a visa or he whould not let him pass to departures.

this guy was rude even snatching the passport of us to re-check our stamps.we were there for around 30 mins whereas different airport staff tried to sort it out but this jumped up parking attendant whould not give an inch.

we also stuck to our guns and did not give in and pay money to him luckily the big boss came down in the end and let us continue to the flight.

dont know what happened to this man but i only hope he got sacked.

it has put the family off ever returning to sharm..

so be carefull at the airport because they will try and rip you off..stick to your guns and insist they get the top people down..
