Was going to skip a hol this year but suddenly had change of mind and have booked into these apts for first 2 weeks in June
My daughter is now wondering whether it will be worth taking the lap-top to keep in touch with her friends rather than find an internet cafe & spend a fortune!
So, what can anyone tell me about Bitez, these appartments & the chance of wi-fi?
Thanx,
Del
Bitez Life Apartments (also knowns as B-Life) seem very nice. They are up a steep incline, on the harbour side of Bitez. (They are next to our apartment).
Im not sure about internet connection, but you will find a few restuarants along the front, have a laptop/PC that you can use for free, if you use their amenties. The Sultan being one of them.
They also have an internet cafe by the mosque.
Im sure you will fall in love with Bitez, like we all do. Ive added a link to the apartments, which has some information, and may be of use???
Hope this helps. If you need any more info, give me a shout.

Hey, thanks for that. Really looking forward to going. Bitez sounds ideal for us. We're ranging in age from 17 to 78, dont want discos & clubs just sunshine, relaxing atmosphere and nice places to eat & drink. Just hope my mum will manage the climb back to the apartments. If not, she'll be hitchng a piggy-back
We went to Bitez a couple of years on the trot and really loved it we were in a large party of friends and family both times our ages ranging from 14 to 40 somethings, and all of us had a whale of a time.
We chose Bitez after the great reviews from people on here and because it is next door to busier Gumbet should the youngsters feel the need. They went in a couple of times and one night went to the big open air club "Halikanas" in Bodrum with the waiters. To be honest though they enjoyed the atmosphere of Bitez and were quite happy lounging around on the big bean bags and hammocks dotted around the beach at night having chats and drinks with friends.
We stayed at the Manuela Hotel which is well worth visiting at night for a good laugh and friendly atmosphere( not too loud but good fun) At the time (which was only a couple of years ago) there was something going on there most nights so I would imagine thats still the case.
There are loads of trips on sale along the front and great boat trips to be had (really cheap) a good market at Turgetries and Bodrum, A water park not far you can't fail to have a great holiday in Bitez whatever your age!
Hope you all enjoy yourselves like we did.

P.S Put Bitez in the search section and you will read glowing reports on Bitez.
Del, it's a great place for everyone, we are in the older end of the age group, but the younger ones seem to enjoy it just as much.
Have a great time.
Myheart................. I checked out your link & what a lovely apartment. If I wasn't sorted for a hotel I'd have considered renting it!
And also congrats on the amount of photos & info you've packed in for potential customers. I've taken notes of your recommendations.......brilliant!
Thanks for all the info, I'm really looking forward to going, and thanks for mentioning about the trips available Mel, that was going to be my next question!! As we're not going with one of the big tour operators I wondered how easy it would be to book some trips - Del
We had a fantastic boat trip that we booked along the front. The boat will take 8 so if you can get 8 of you together you will have it to yourselves for the day and the captain will take you out to some lovely spots for a snorkel and a swim. Its so nice to be able to chat with him and let him tell you about the different stop offs. He stops off for some lunch and gives you fruit in the afternoon and I think it worked out about £8 each............ brilliant!.
They can be found about halfway along the front by the Okaliptus hotel . They are a lovely couple ,Liz who is an English lady married to Amet who is the Turkish captain will really look after you and make your day special. I believe they have been running the trip for around 20 years and were the first people to do so.

Del, I am sure you will enjoy Bitez - we are back again in September and I can't wait.
This just sounds better by the minute! I have one last question for all you Bitez regulars - I've been reading on the currency thread that the best option seems to be to take enough Turkish currency for the first day or so, take British notes with you & change them in a bank rather than a hotel or exchange bureau - is there a bank in Bitez? If not, where will I find the nearest one?
We did just that, enough lira for a couple of days and then we changed up at the Manuela as they offered a good rate.I don't remember seeing a bank there but i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. there are places along the front offering good rates too its no problem.
Happy hols
Mel
Thanx for the help again Mel Del
