i can answer your questions........ due to having stayed there this year !

YES men do have to wear long trousers for dinner, did not see any shorts at all !

NO there isn't fridges in the rooms .......and not too sure if you can hire them either don't think so but never asked !

and lastly YES there is a shower over the bath !
