However, I have Filipina wife and went there must be 7/9 years ago? Found it to be overcrowded, too commercialised. Beaches, tourist spots, etc, crowded. And being near Australia, lots of rowdy Ausies!
Never returned. But can recommend Palawan. Lots of the Island still in its natural state. Some lovely places to visit also
