I hate bra straps showing (think it's an age thing!) so was getting really wound up when recently I found that whichever sleeveless dress or top I wore my straps were showing! I could not understand it and got so worked up about it, especially on holiday when wanting to look reasonable in the evening.
Just a few weeks ago I had a body scan, for various reasons, and it showed a slight curvature of the spine! It seems that this is why I am having a problem - so! strapless bras for me from now on! Hope they do them in short fat lady sizes!
well they do bikinis in that size................
Have you had a look at the pretty diamante straps?
Had a look, dramaqueen, but still can't get my head round showing my straps! I think it's down to old age and grumpiness!
Getting that way, Del! Think it must be time for another holiday!!
No bra at all sounds better to me and the other men on holidays
Hope you have better luck than me Pat as I just don't feel comfy in strapless bras. You can get clear straps however

not with some of the women I have seen going "free range"........less is more in some cases!

It does seem to be an age thing though as I'm not that happy showing bra straps (sort of seems untidy) but most under thirty's seem very happy to do so and often seem to co-ordinate the colour of the bra that is going to be on show with the colour of the top they are wearing. That must require being very organised, so maybe it's better to be old and grumpy.

Glynis - tried the 'invisible ' straps but I could still see them!
Del - even in your dreams you will never see me 'free range' -would scare the horses!!!
My problem with strapless bras is that I'm forever feeling that I have to hawk them up, I think I just don't feel secure
It might be an age thing, I'm 27 and have bras in different colours to match my tops but being a F cup I can't really not have straps.

well done your Mum.
Yes it's not easy when you are an E or F cup to go strapless

What about 'racer' back type bra? I KNOW that there is something else you can get...I did have one years ago but never used it...it was piece of elastic that went around the bra straps and 'pulled' them into a racer back style. I've googled but not had a real good look but did come across this
they have plastic things in the local pound shop to convert your bra to a racer back. primark also do an sos kit with boob tape spare straps and the plastic racerback clips think the primark set was £3

That Warners Elements one looks quite nice Betty, but it seems to be OOS. The girl in the main advert in the shocking pink top with the black bra straps showing looks fine to me. Perhaps I am getting slack in my old age, but the bra strap showing thing seems to look fine on young slim women, so long as the straps are not that weird shade of white that has been washed 200 times.
