Good evening everyone!
Due to a significant change in my Neurological disability, it's looking likely that I will need to change the person accompanying me on my forthcoming BA flight LGW-FNC to someone who is more confident and able to deal with my condition for which BA have already kindly arranged Special Assistance. I have heard that, in such exceptional circumstances, BA may agree to the change of name without the need to cancel the whole ticket and purchase a new one. We are travelling Club Europe.
Can anyone please advise?
Many thanks in advance.
Most airlines will allow a name change but it usually incurs an amendment fee.
Due to your circumstances & from what you've heard you are probably better speaking direct to BA as you can explain your circumstances in person.
Please let us know how you get on & good luck 👍

Thanks Glynis, I'll certainly keep you and the HT Community updated.
Maybe some BA Experts might also be able to offer some further pearls of wisdom too

Fiona, who travels a lot with BA, is flying out to New York today or I'm sure she'd have answered by now. She may pop in hopefully 👍
