I have seen this post in other Goa forum, Mods sorry for copy pasting here but just thought this info might help someone, so posting it here.
“The British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Peter Beckingham and the Head of Consular Operations India, Ms. Michaela Wiliamson would welcome an opportunity to meet the British community in Goa to provide an update on the property issue. They will host a meeting on the evening of Monday 28 January 2013 from 4.00 to 5.00 p.m. at the Cidade de Goa, Vainguinim Valley, Dona Paula, Goa.

I think the thread I saw on TA also added that it's not just property issues but anything to do with British tourist problems in India.
It was me that put it on a number of sites.I didn't post it on here as i remember when there were too many complaints about long stayers complaining on this forum and a lot of posts removed.
