building work in icmeler

Can anyone tell me about building work going on in Icmeler.Somebody just back from there described it as "bomb site"at the moment.They said that the promenade and the beach have been dug up and the beach is all rocks.They also said that there is a lot of work going on in buildings in and around Icmeler.Does anyone know if this will all be finished in time for the main holiday season.

All work to beach area will be stopped by law end of April.

Icmeler will be back to normal then.

Further to Johns email, this is common to all the resorts(as far as I know). During the winter they are a hive of activity, digging up roads, knocking down buildings, and rebuilding etc. Then like magic come May 1st, everything is tidied up, beaches clean, sunbeds out all ready for the season's visitors!

A national cessation of building work from 15 May - 15 September, to ensure tourism figures aren't affected by the noise, dust and dirt associated with building work, This is from Minister for Tourism .

blodwynpig, Nothing to worry about my friend I have been for the last 3 years in October and havent seen nothing being built, Just the remains of last years work incompleted.
