i just got back today from this hotel, we also got the letter re the work..there is a small amount to the front of hotel and a larger area to the back of the hotel (over the road) they are not connected to the donaire beach, and the couple of days we spent at the pool we were not bothered in any way...we did go out alot to port aventura aswell. i would have to say we were on the 2nd floor over looking the pool and i would imagine people higher up the hotel nearer the back of the building would see more of the building site. we had a really fab time its a lovely hotel,with good entertainment , lots for children(mine are 6 and 9 ) any questions just ask

I am relieved to hear that the building work is not too intrusive as I am going to visit this hotel in August too. Would appreciate any updates.

Only three weeks to go now, and I am really looking forward to a holiday at this hotel, from your comments it sounds great and the building work going on doesn't sound too bad at all.

Hey guys - I noticed the building work on the 11th day of our stay at the Donaire - I saw it, not heard it - 10 days oblivious to it! What does that say about it?! Not a problem!
