Maybe Daview, but places in the resorts are here today and gone tomorrow.
That's been our experience over many years.
Peter
Yes thats true Peter but if we can point someone in the general direction then we can perhaps help along the way
You are doing this years tourists NO Favours by telling them what was OK last year. In fact you could be leading them astray.
Patka
on the other hand- its worth a look.
If I can tell them where I was last year and they try but it is no longer there, then they can at least cross that place off their list and try to find somewhere else. Then perhaps they in turn can pass that info onto the rest of us, thats the ideal thing about this forum, the exchange of information to a common purpose, i.e. making our Hols a lot more enjoyable instead of wasting the best part of a fortnight only to find that special place on the last day.
If it is there and they get what they are after then I hope that I have done a good deed.
It is only by listening to others that we learn
Even if the folk who originally asked this question follow my directions then they will at the very least see the Street of Artists, which in itself is worth a visit
I have on this forum myself for this year been asking for the directions to a Bistro and have received said directions, if its not there, I have'nt lost anything, if its there, then I have gained my holiday experience.
Well said daview,i couldn't have put it better myself if someone had written it down for me.Untill this years visitors say its not there anymore then we have to believe that the lovely couple still swear at the customers
Victory Blue are the best they taste more like british cigs, I think they worked out about 70 pence a packet last year
There has been a tax increase since last year, they are approx 90p a pack now.
Correct, Patka 2.60 Leva (90p) for most Victory brands at the moment here, 2.50 Leva for 'West Red', which I find a little less coarse than Victory Blue or White.
90p for a packet of ciggies, no way, I always said I'll pack it in when it gets near a pound a packet..........
They've been that price since around January 2006, when the price increased from 1.60 Leva to 2.60 Leva - Victory prices are predicted to rise to 4 Leva per pack next January, as the EU is pushing Bulgaria to increase their excise duty to minimal European levels.
You staying in a hotel now Baldur?
I'm at my friend's family hotel/pension at Evksinograd at the moment, have to sort out some banking/bulk food & drink shopping at Metro, etc., in Varna tomorrow, before wending my way up to the village tomorrow afternoon.
Baldur
