Hi there.
I'm going to the Dominican Republic in a few weeks time and I've just found some left over holiday spends from last year and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to use it to purchase currency for this years holiday without first having to change it back into Sterling. The purpose of this is to save having to pay commission twice.
Many thanks for any info given.
David
From experience if the currency is from a country you are going to visit again.....try and hang on to it. Most exchanges do "nothing for nothing".
If you get the chance to do a last minute cheapy, having some currency "in reserve" might just encourage you to book....there's always an excuse for an extra holiday...LOL!!

I managed to change the currency I had (Tunisian Dinars), back into Sterling for a better rate than I was hoping for! So I just used it to buy Peso's.
Many thanks for the reply.
David
PS: Only 8 sleeps to go!
