Hi
We are driving down Jard le Mer (I think!) in 10 weeks and my son will be 15 months. He normally has a sleeping bag on and in this hot weather we've been having I've just put a vest on him with the sleeping bag. As we are going to be in a tent, could anyone tell me what they dressed their little ones in as obviously its going to get a bit colder during the night. He has a 'winter' sleeping bag at 2.5 tog and a 1 tog for summer if that helps.
Thank you!

Thank you! :D
Is the site near Talmont ???
We are just getting ready to set off ourselves but don't have kids in tow now BUT
Our friend who has a campsite in Pitou Charente which opens end of the month offically is telling us of temperatures in the day and night at least 5-8 degrees warmer than here in the UK
so that's going to read around 10-14 degrees at night so if you are further South then it can be 3-4 degrees warmer than that
We were in a tent in Normandy in late June with a 21 month old and she ended up in our bed most nights as she was cold. We had her in a vest, cotton sleepsuit and fleecy sleepsuit over the top. Given that you're going to be further south and a few weeks later, a cotton sleepsuit (with sleeves) with a 1 tog Grobag should be warm enough but I would take the warmer one too to be on the safe side.
A lightwwieght blanket / fleece asa throw over also helps! I seem to recall in the far south my boys used to sleep in just their pull ups.
I have no idea where abouts we are staying apart from the name as my brother in law goes every year and he has arranged it all!
