Were there any good reviews before you booked? If so, everyone has different expectations and opinions. If there are no good reviews, at the risk of 'statin the bleedin obvious', its best to thoroughly research a place before booking.

When are you going ???????????????????????????

The reviews of the 18-30 crowd will be different to us oldies

Best of luck,

Robby

I reasearched it before I booked but couldnt get no reviews at all. Thought everything was ok but apart from paying another £200 to change to the Pueblo Barcelo half board the only other option is to go and put up with it.

Sory to have to say it, but, time and time again, it's stressed on H.T. (and other travel forums)- the key to successful d.i.y. holidays is research, research and research. If you choose accommodation where there is no user feedback, you are, effectively, being a guineau-pig for everyone else's benefit. Some you win, but, unfortunately, some you lose. Sorry it doesn't seem to have worked out this time ( but you never know-perhaps the reviews you have now read are from people with different tastes to yours), but don't let it put you off d.i.y.- just do your research next time and let somebody else be the guineau-pig!
