Hi please can anyone help, my son has just fractured his wrist and he will still need his cast on when we go on holiday, i have read about waterproof cast covers on the internet but i am wondering if anyone has used them and if they work. If we cant get round the swimming problem i may have to cancel and probably lose all the money so any help would be great.
Thanks
Sharon
It would seem a little drastic to cancel the holiday just because he can't go swimming - surely you could find something else for him to do - after all if he remains at home he won't be swimming either. Perhaps buy him something to keep him occupied - better this than lose your money.

Hi Sharon .. on a slightly separate subject, please remember to make your travel insurer aware of your son's wrist fracture, if you have not already told them. This may be required under the terms and conditions of your travel policy.
I broke my arm and used one of those to go swimming when I went on holiday. The company is called Limbo.

They are absolutely brillant and there is no reason why you should not go away.
Thanks for the advise, we are going to order a cover so hopefully we can all have a good hol, i notified our insurance company straight away as i used to work in the travel industry and i know what they are like but they said he would be fully covered, thanks very much anyway.
