Disabled Person Holiday Discussions

Are you disabled or know someone who is? What are your experiences of hotels and resorts as a disabled person?

When I fractured my ankle I saw several adverts for these cast protectors at the plaster clinic - I would imagine that they work very well.

It would seem a little drastic to cancel the holiday just because he can't go swimming - surely you could find something else for him to do - after all if he remains at home he won't be swimming either. Perhaps buy him something to keep him occupied - better this than lose your money.

Hi Sharon .. on a slightly separate subject, please remember to make your travel insurer aware of your son's wrist fracture, if you have not already told them. This may be required under the terms and conditions of your travel policy.

Hi,

I broke my arm and used one of those to go swimming when I went on holiday. The company is called Limbo.

They are absolutely brillant and there is no reason why you should not go away.
