Hello K&R do you mean to H/B or room upgrade? if they do H/B there is no reason why you cannot pay for half board, but I find it better to go out to a nice restaurant and pick a nice meal as a lot of H/B gets a bit of the same thing after a bit. sometimes you can just book say 3 or 4 dinners and then go out for the rest if you want.
As for the rooms I have never been to this hotel so I am no help at all.

We were there 2 yrs ago and you could upgrade to AI but I don't know what the prices would be. We had a fantastic time and would highly reccomend it.

i did mean meal upgrade, we just thourght if it was working out quite expensive then we could upgrade for a few days etc....

we HAVE to go in the july school holidays as thats when my hubby gets his holidays from work, and we have found prices seem to go up quite a bit, so its now better to be prepared......
