Grannies Heilin Home is in a lovely position, right next to the beach, surrounded by beautiful scenery. It used to be a Haven site, think it`s Parkdean now, but not certain. It`s near Dornoch.

Grannies Heilan hame, we have friends who have been there several times with there children (11 & 15) and they said it is lovely with plenty to do, and they all really enjoy it.

looked it looks a long way up will be traveling from birminjgham any ideas how long. that company have another few in scotland anybody know about these

It IS a long way I suppose from Birmingham, we travelled up from Lincolnshire, which is still a long way, but we have a touring caravan, and stopped off at a site on the Firth of Forth on the way.

Hi, we stayed at Seton Sands Caravan Park at Easter. It is near Edinburgh so not so far north. We found the campsite clean with plenty to do. You can also travel into Edinburgh to see the sights. There are beaches nearby and it is only a short drive to North Berwick which has some fantastic beaches/sand dunes. The Museum of Flight (which houses Concorde) is also nearby.

We stayed at the 'Southerness' Parkdean holiday park in Aug just gone,
It's in Dumfries which is no more than get to Gretna & turn left. Evening entertainment was OK, never got time to try the pool. Catering facilities are inadequate for a site of this size, but afew pubs locally that serve decent grub. Site is right on beach but beach (like a lot around there) are full of shels and can be sharp underfoot. There is a fantastic beach (sandy something or other) a short drive away.
Sit eitself was very clean with bins emptied every day & grounds kept well maintained.
