please any help would be grateful

you don't state whether it is the beach or the reef side you were offered. we went to casa marina beach last year and found it to be a lot quieter than the reef side; whilst you still had use of all the facilities - it is a vry short walk (2minutes) pool to pool. I can't comment on the other resort as never been. every hotel has mixed reviews, even the top hotels - at the end of the day these are down to peoples own expectations of what they consider good food; good value for money etc. at casa marina you are definately getting what you paid for; it's a 3 star resort with 3 star rooms and 3 star food. my husband and I, along with our autistic 10 year old still had a fantastic time - our holiday was what we made it.
I would suggest if you really can not decide then just go for the one that caters to most of your travel companions ideals; if tht still can not settle it just take pot luck because there probably is very little difference in that case!
whatever you decide, I hope you have a great time

airtours brochure just says casa marina reef and beach doesn't say what actual side you are getting.
main question - would you go back or tell your best fiend to go? that is how I grade hotels I go to!!
thanks
Its been some years since we were at Casa Marina, it was an AOA and for what we paid we had a great time. The rooms were adequate, the food was OK and I would return if the price was right or it was the only option I could afford. The beach isn't the perfect example of the Caribbean (its actually Atlantic side) and the sea can be very rough there but the sun shines and you can have a wonderful holiday if you're not expecting a 5* luxury paradise.
For friends travelling with kids would def. say go if price was right - we paid £1600 total cost for last two weeks in june (2 adults and 1 child); and would say that price was right for time of year etc. If your not travelling with children or prefer a resort with fewer children around then is prob not worth the money.
Would ask your travel rep to get confirmation on which side is offered as they do book as separate hotels with separate receptions etc.
Really hope this helps.

hiya we went to casa marina beach hotel 10 yrs ago to get married out there, had an absolutly wonderful time but then you would wouldnt you, i would love to go back there, it was lovely clean, friendly staff good shows on in ampitheretre and nice and relaxing, rooms good size, food plently to eat, good trips , yes i think you can say i enjoyed it there
After much consideration I have finally decided to go egypt (luxor) with a nile cruise.
Hope I have made the right choice.
