We are coming out to Sharm on 18th December for a week staying at CSR. We were in Sharm in the Summer and brought only £50 Sterling of Egyptian Pounds with us for tips etc. The rest of the money we withdrew over there. The only thing is, we had problems finding a cashline that worked (we were staying at Jaz Mirabel Beach).

After all the hassle, I said if we came out to Egypt again, we'd just take the money with us but the exchange rate just now is so poor. Only 7.5 LE to £1 sterling.

Is it best to do what we did in the Summer and withdraw money over there getting a higher exchange rate? Are there many cashlines near the CSR?

Also, does anyone know how much First Choice take for the Luxor trip, by plane? I heard Charm of Sharm were quite cheap but after contacting them they are charging £158 per person which is a bit higher than I was expecting. I'd heard First Choice charge £165 for their trip, just aswell booking with them if that's the case.
