It appears from May this year Celebrity do not honour any price drop after 48 hours from booking
We leave this Sunday on Eclipse doing a transatlantic over to Miami. We booked a basic inside on a GTY the price dropped by 145 pounds each but was told because my grade had sold out I had no come back even though I did not book a particular grade and was prepared to move down but no joy they said it is the new ruling

Thats the way it goes any offers can be for new bookings only.
Next time book later, but be prepared for higher flight costs
another option is to ask for cheap upgrades if there is capacity.
Sometimes offering to pay more can swing a deal.
