Have just paid for a cruise sailing on the Diamond Princess next February out of Sydney and ending in China. The TA, Scotland Cruise Centre, have marketed it as a 'Manager's Special' by adding 3 nights in Sydney and a morning tour pre-cruise and 3 nights in Beijing, with a daytrip to The Great Wall post-cruise, and we can't wait. However, having looked on another travel website people (virtually all americans) are talking of price drops and getting their costs correspondingly altered; curious, I have looked on Princess's website and compared the price of the cruise element with SCC (they are still offering it as just a fly/cruise without the extras) and Princess is £200 cheaper. Hubby (surprisingly) is reluctant to phone SCC to see if we could get a reduction and so to the question - what would you do?

Phone it acan't hurt to try.
I don't think Princess UK are too keen on offering price drops though.

Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Azamara cruises have the Price Guarantee program, but I've never known Princess to refund if the price has dropped.
