I am going back to Cyprus next year and I like to change my money on a monthly basis as it seems better for me .Does anybody know when they are changing over to the euro because if it is going to be before next June I wont bother with the cypriot pound.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
NO firm date, it has been put back from 2007 and to be honest it has gone very quiet on this here on the island, maybe 2008/9, this will depend on the Cypriot currency getting into line with the rest of the EU regarding the EU currency, I am obviously no expert but maybe even longer than 2009 as it is in a mess at the moment.
