Apart from that you will be able to change at your hotel, but make sure you ask there are any charges before you change
Looks like we might be taken euros with us then, the cash machines charge a bomb to withdrawn money, when we went to playa de en bossa we always went to unos bar to change money and they gave great rates, thought they might of been somewhere what did the same. Never mind.
There are a few good places to change stirling for euros on the island with some of the best being in Ibiza town (Evissia) and Sant Antonio. But what I would suggest is that rather than take a lot of English cash with you, just take what you think you will need and use the ATM machines that are found all over the island, this will not only give you the best deal on the conversion rates, but save paying out a lot on travellers cheques and such and is more secure. Your bank may not even charge for taking cash out either, just check before you fly out.
Hope this helps,
Marc
Last year it was 1.42 in resort and Nationwide gave me 1.47 with no charge!!!
Well worth doing!
