you will be right on top of the action. if there are no current reviews on here, look on trip advisor.
if you do not want clubbing or being in the centre of everything avoid this. compare it to the casino royal which is a couple of minutes away.
other AI hotels include the HTOPhotels, the samba/ancla/garbi.
for calella, again htop hotels, but calella is a bit quieter than lloret.
you can get the train from barcelona to calella/lloret. it takes around 2 hours and costs around €7.
taxi is around €120.
lokk at transfer companies like shuttledirect or a2b who will not charge the earth.
