it does make you feel like that but imagine you hadn't booked and were waiting for the last minute to be told, there aren't any flights left or we can do it but only from an airport 100's of miles away .. etc etc... you like us have got it booked and know your going...

I know that is true askcy, we are going in just under 7 weeks and have had it booked since last october when we came back, cant wait now

i think last minute deals are great when there are just two of you and you're not too fussy about night flights etc. when i book for our young family we have a lot of boxes to tick. we have to have day flights, returning at a reasonable time from our local airport(manchester), and we have to know our accomodation is suitable, not 18-30 etc. i managed to get two weeks at the brilliant apts in protarus in a one bed apt with free child place and good flights for £1500 for two adults and two children which i thought was pretty reasonable. only six weeks and 6 days to go now!

Whats wrong with night flights?.. I like them.. I get to the room in the wee small hours.. get a few hours kip and get up to a brand new bright and shiny day...

however this time, Mrs Ask has got us on a day flight.. (she says its day, look like really early morning start to get the taxi to airport, 2 hours before boarding etc.. flight of 4/5 hours...its going to be mid to late afternoon by the time we hit Pernera.. I can't see how thats better?... going to be asleep anyway with the early start....(well probably not, but it doesn't seem any better to me..)
