Can anyone who knows the area tell me if there are many places to park in or fairly near to Hylands Park please?
Thanks.
Pippy
Right. So why did I post this in the Turkey forum?!
It's some time since I lived near Chelmsford, and Hylands Park was just being built! I would google Hylands Park and see what comes out. But I'm sure that there will be parking, or how about parking centrally and getting a bus or taxi?
I had a walk round Hylands a couple of years ago when visiting friends in Chelmsford and there must have been a car park because we drove there. The house is used for weddings and other functions so there must be car parking provided. If you are going to one of the pop concerts that are held there annually I would think that they will have special parking in one of the fields ( Hylands is situated pretty much in open countryside).
OH has just said that there was a free car park at both entrances.
I lived in Chelmsford for three years when I was first married a long long time ago. When I was young (and slim).
I had a look on the HYLANDS website but as it's a specific event I'll (hopefully!) be going to I thought I'd better plan ahead and find out if there's likely to be a charge or a change to the usual Hylands parking arrangements.
I've actually just been having a look online and have just this minute found what I need to know HERE.
Thanks again
Pippy
