Hi All
We have seen some fantastic deals for Benidorm this Christmas - favourites are the Flamingo Oasis and Levante Club Hotels on AI basis. The Victoria and Benidorm Plaza are coming up as good deals too.
As we haven't visisted any of these hotels I would be grateful for some feedback - the hotel reviews are very mixed particulary for the Flamingo Oasis. I know at one time this hotel was considered to be the best AI in Benidorm - is this still so???
So please all help me out of this dilemma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I haven't stayed at either of the hotels you are asking about I'm afraid, but I would be interested in knowing where you have found these fantastic deals. I have been looking for a New Year fantastic deal but with no success.
uktony ....the deals around seem to be over the Xmas period and New Year stays are still expensive but there may be some later if you keep checking the net ....Caz
I have stayed in Benidorm many times and know the area quite well, but haven't been to any of the hotels mentioned as we usually stay in apartments.
I am leaning toward the Flamingo Oasis/Levante Club hotels at the moment.
By the way the deals are with Thomson leaving 14th December returning 29th December.
uktony....Check the Thomson site just had a look and depending where you are flying from there are good prices leaving from Gatwick for a week on the 28th Dec.
We stayed at Levante Club for 5 nights over last Christmas, and really enjoyed it. We were full board. I don't think AI was available then. We enjoyed the entertainment over the road at the Tropical bar.
Hiya...We are considering going to benidorm for the xmas period(21/12-28/12) just for 1 week,my question is where in benidorm would you suggest we stay we've never been to beni before we want some nightlife not to hectic though and would like to be close to beach, town, at the moment we're just browsing the web for offers we are thinking of going A/I never done that before either so any info would be nice..
Hi we`ve been going for quite a few years now at Christimas and have always prefered the old town but last year we had quite a few night out around the Ricon area. Enjoyed our nights out in this area so much that we have decided that this year we will stay at the Ricon end of town. Ricon seemed to have more bars open and busier than other parts.
Do you have to pay to see the shows i read about in the bars ?
Whats the weather like normally at that time of year can i leave the bikini at home and take my winter woolies?
From what i've read today i may be better off going s/c and just eat out rather then go A/I is that the best bet? do the drinks and food go up in price just over xmas period like the flight prices?
Ricon is at the end of Levante, lots of hotels in this area and lots of bars.
Shows are free but some bars charge a bit more for the drinks.
I have seen a few in bikinis on the beach but not many as it depends onthe weather, we have had temp from12-22 degrees and have always taken a good mix of clothes, some years we have managed to were t shirts and shorts during the day. other years we have had to wear fleeces during the day (it was -12 in the uk though). We have always worn a jacket or coat at night.
Personal I would bother with all inc Benidorm has some very good offers around and they don`t put the prices up for xmas. A meal on xmas day can be from £5- £25pp the latter usually would be the full xmas dinner and would prob inc drinks.
Hope I don't come across petty but just thought I'd mention that the area is spelt 'Rincon' rather than 'Ricon', just wanted to mention it as it may make any google searches you do more successful. The full name for the area is 'Rincon de Loix'
Thank you Christine for that info i'll make a note when we've made a booking i'll let you know maybe come back for more info..
Mark your quite right about the spelling thanks for pointing it out, I can`t even blame the vino as I posted in the morning.
